Privacy notice

Last updated 27 October 2026

The short version. We keep only what’s needed to run your revision hub. We never sell it, never show ads and never track you around the web. You can delete your account, and everything in it, from Settings whenever you like.

Who runs RevisionHub

RevisionHub is a small, independent project, currently in an invite-only beta. For anything about your data, email hello@revisionhub.cc.

Who it’s for

RevisionHub is for secondary school students, usually aged 14 to 16. You must be at least 13 to use it. If you’re under 16, please make sure a parent or carer knows you’re using it.

What we keep

We don’t ask for your full name, school, address, date of birth or phone number. Please don’t put them in your username.

Why we keep it

To run the hub for you: to sign you in, save your work, plan your timetable, write and mark your tests, and keep the service safe. That’s the only reason (in UK data-protection terms, it’s needed to provide the service you asked for, and our legitimate interest in keeping it secure).

Who else sees it

Anki, NotebookLM and exam-board websites are separate services you choose to open. What you do there is covered by their own privacy policies.

Cookies

One cookie, which keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. It isn’t used for anything else. The app also remembers small settings (like light or dark theme) in your browser.

How long we keep it

Until you delete your account. Deleting it removes your account, revision data and uploaded files from the server straight away. Copies in our backups are overwritten within a few weeks. Server logs, which include IP addresses, are rotated and old ones deleted as the server restarts.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, have it corrected, get a copy, or have it deleted. Most of this you can do yourself in the app. For anything else, email hello@revisionhub.cc and we’ll reply within a month. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If this notice changes in a way that matters, we’ll tell you in the app before it applies.
